Set against the scenery of 1977 Los Angeles, The Nice Guys opens when single parent and authorized PI Holland March (Gosling) is enlisted to explore the obvious suicide of renowned porn star Misty Mountains. As the trail drives him to find a young lady named Amelia (Qualley), he experiences less authorized and less uninvolved private investigator Jackson Healey (Russell Crowe) and his knuckle reinforcements, both contracted by the youthful hipster. Notwithstanding, the circumstance gets ugly when Amelia vanishes and it gets to be obvious that March wasn't the main party intrigued.
