To start with there was an opportunity......then there was a treachery. Twenty years have passed by. Much has changed yet the same amount of continues as before. Stamp Renton (Ewan McGregor) comes back to the main place he can call home. They are sitting tight for him: Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle). Other old companions are holding up as well: distress, misfortune, euphoria, retribution, disdain, fellowship, adore, aching, fear, lament, diamorphine, implosion and mortal threat, they are altogether arranged to welcome him, prepared to join the move.
