Memories can deceive you
Previous serial executioner Byung-su gets determined to have Alzheimer's. The specialist reveals to him that it's because of the eventual outcomes from a car crash 17 years back; a similar mischance that prevented him from his killings and enabled him to carry on with a typical existence with his dear girl.
