Acclaimed essayist and antiquarian Deborah E. Lipstadt must fight for authentic truth to demonstrate the Holocaust really happened when David Irving, a prestigious denier, sues her for defamation.
In light of the acclaimed book "History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier," DENIAL relates Deborah E. Lipstadt's (Academy Award victor Rachel Weisz) fight in court for recorded truth against David Irving (Cannes Award champ Timothy Spall), who blamed her for criticism when she proclaimed him a Holocaust denier. In the English lawful framework, the weight of evidence is on the denounced, hence it was dependent upon Lipstadt and her lawful group to demonstrate the fundamental truth that the Holocaust happened. Likewise featuring two-time Academy Award chosen one Tom Wilkinson, the film is coordinated by Emmy Award victor Mick Jackson ("Temple Grandin") and adjusted for the screen by BAFTA and Academy Award named author David Hare (THE READER). Makers are Gary Foster and Russ Krasnoff.
